Welcome to the Centre for Geographical Health Research, University of Southampton

The Centre for Geographical Health Research (CGHR) has been established at the University of Southampton as a centre of research expertise in health geography.

The Centre strives for excellence in research in the application of novel spatial analysis methods and geographical concepts to solve epidemiological and public health research problems.

Based within Geography and the Environment, The Centre consists of core academic staff as well as research staff and graduate students. A particular focus is the establishment of collaborative research with clinical scientists and epidemiologists from the UK and beyond.
